Summary

The Healthcare Sales Consultant role is a performance-driven position focused on health care sales, responsible for generating business and achieving targets within a designated territory while engaging with the community to promote our services. Key referral sources include hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, skilled nursing facilities, and the broader community.

This role involves identifying opportunities for formal or contractual partnerships with healthcare providers and executing territory sales strategies in collaboration with operational and clinical leadership to ensure exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Uphold the company's Mission and Values.

- Analyze potential prospects within the assigned market territory by reviewing historical and current marketing data.

- Understand and promote the services offered within the market.

- Build relationships with prospective referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, skilled nursing facilities, and assisted living facilities to drive sales growth.

- Develop weekly plans that outline daily sales calls.

- Maintain an accurate account list of all prospective referral sources and keep updated physician profiles, weekly sales call plans, and track patient referrals daily from start of care.

- Meet and exceed sales targets for growth.

- Participate in community strategic meetings within the assigned territory.

- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop focused marketing strategies on a weekly basis.

- Stay informed about market trends and communicate updates effectively.

- Organize, distribute, and track relevant patient documents for the organization.

- Assist operations as needed to ensure timely admissions and satisfaction for patients and referral sources.

- Attend company sales and marketing meetings.

- Comply with the company's HIPAA privacy, Business Ethics, and Compliance programs.

- Follow agency policies and procedures, including awareness and participation in the Agency's Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.

- Understand the agency's approach to managing customer complaints and the importance of patient rights.

- Recognize appropriate reasons for patient discharge and agency policies regarding discharge.

- Be aware of potential signs of abuse and neglect and the necessary steps to report any concerns.

- Understand infection prevention and control measures as outlined in agency policies.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

Minimum of two years of experience in medical sales is required.
