Job Title: Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist

The American Council on Education (ACE) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our dynamic People Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by attracting and retaining top talent.

Job Summary:

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for driving day-to-day recruiting operations to attract and retain top talent in alignment with short and long-term business growth and needs. This includes managing full life-cycle execution of ACE's recruiting and internal promotion processes, developing relationships with hiring managers and business partners, and maintaining OFCCP compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage full life-cycle execution of ACE's recruiting and internal promotion processes, including job posting, sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Develop relationships with hiring managers and business partners to serve as the subject matter expert for specialized talent acquisition.
  • Maintain OFCCP compliance and internal efforts to promote a diverse employee population.
  • Manage partnerships with staffing agencies and assist hiring managers with temporary staffing needs.
  • Design and implement innovative recruitment strategies, including leveraging social media to attract and retain talent.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform People Team programs and process development.
  • Develop and implement talent surveys to enhance candidate and manager experience with the hiring process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, psychology, sociology, or a related subject.
  • Five years of relevant on-the-job experience in talent acquisition.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional, self-motivated, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and organize workload in a constantly changing environment.
Preferred Requirements:
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
  • Experience working in a higher education or association environment.
  • Experience using SharePoint, MS Forms, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive; UKG; SkillSoft; Qualtrics; Adobe Sign.
Working Conditions:

This is a hybrid position with a minimum of 2 days per week at 1 Dupont Circle, Washington, DC 20036.

Target Salary:

$79,777-$99,721.
