Cardiovascular Step Down Unit Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a leader in our Cardiovascular Step Down Unit, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide leadership to your nursing team during designated shifts, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including test results and examination findings.
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A Florida Registered Nurse license or compact licensure, with active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire.
- A minimum of 1 year of RN experience in an acute care setting, with a preference for experience in cardiovascular care.
- Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, or ENPC, depending on unit requirements.
- Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to read and comprehend written instructions.
