Cardiovascular Step Down Unit Nurse Leader

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Charge Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Step Down Unit team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a leader in patient care, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to our patients. Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to your nursing team during your designated shift.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in designated units.
- PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department.
- CPI training within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
