At HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Charge Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Step Down Unit team. As a Charge Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, intervening, and evaluating the care of patients in your unit. You will also instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, maintain and review patients' records, administer medications in accordance with physician orders, and provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift.Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must be licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure. If compact license held, active FL RN license required within 60 days of hire. You should also have a nursing diploma or ASN required; BSN Preferred, American Heart Association BLS, ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the following units: Progressive Care, ICU, SICU, CVOR, PACU, EP, Endo and ER, PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department, CPI training required within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health, and minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.About Us
