We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a leader in our Cardiovascular Step Down Unit, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and providing clinical expertise to your team.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients in your unit.
- Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Maintain and review patients' records, including posting tests and examination results.
- Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
- Provide leadership to your nursing team during your designated shift.
- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in specified units.
- PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department.
- CPI training within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in an acute care setting preferred.
