Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit Nurse

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of patients in the Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit.
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding medications, treatment instructions, and health management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting, preferably in a cardiovascular or critical care environment.
- Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, and use PC skills.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 60 months of employment start date.
- Associate Degree in Nursing.
