About the RoleAs a Charge Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high-quality, efficient care in our Cardiovascular Step Down Unit. You will assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate the care of your unit's patients, instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions, and maintain and review patients' records.
Requirements- Licensed as a Florida Registered Nurse in accordance with state regulations or appropriate compact licensure
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN Preferred
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the following units: Progressive Care, ICU, SICU, CVOR, PACU, EP, Endo, and ER
- PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department
- CPI training required within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred
