We are seeking a skilled and experienced Charge Registered Nurse to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a leader in our Cardiovascular Step Down Unit, you will be responsible for providing clinical expertise and ensuring high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, intervene, and evaluate patient care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff during designated shifts.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Current Florida Registered Nurse licensure or compact licensure with active FL RN license within 60 days of hire.
- Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in designated units.
- PALS or ENPC certification within 6 months of hire/transfer in the Emergency Department.
- CPI training within 3 months of hire/transfer for Behavioral Health.
- Minimum 1 year RN experience in acute care setting preferred.
