Business Development Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team at Jobot. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and stay updated on industry developments.
  • Develop new business opportunities through active prospecting and networking.
  • Utilize a hunter mentality to identify and pursue potential clients, making cold calls and setting up meetings to present our company's services.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and competitor offerings, using this information to inform business development strategies.
  • Work closely with the sales team to convert leads into clients, meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.
  • Work collaboratively with the project management team to ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrable experience in general contracting, networking, cold calling, meetings, prospecting, and outside sales.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the construction industry, including key players, market trends, and industry standards.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a hunter mentality and a passion for closing deals.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficient in the use of CRM software and other sales tools.
