Job Title: Business Development Representative

Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with customers, and driving sales growth. You will work closely with our sales team to develop and execute sales strategies, and will be responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold-calling, and networking
  • Build and maintain relationships with customers to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Collaborate with the sales team to share best practices and drive sales growth
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to management


Requirements:


  • 2+ years of sales experience, preferably in a business-to-business (B2B) setting
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Job Duties and Responsibilities:




  • Meeting with contacts a day
  • On-site visits, phone calls, and email follow-ups
  • Maintaining and expanding existing Customer relationships
  • Educating on Surface Experts capabilities and limitations
  • Validating level of Customer satisfaction and opportunities to improve
  • Earning the trust of our Customers
  • Working within a sales team and process
  • Memorizing sales scripts and role-playing practice
  • Documenting sales activities in CRM; from lead to work order and all steps in between
  • Reporting accurately and weekly
  • Brainstorming to find new leads and opportunities


Required Qualifications:




  • Sales experience; cold-calling and B2B sales
  • Goal-oriented, self-starter, and energetic
  • Licensed to operate a passenger car and have a clean driving record
  • Professional, caring, and service-minded
  • Readiness to work with a metrics-based, process-driven sales team


Preferred Skills:




  • General working knowledge of property management and/or construction industry
  • Experience using CRM tools and processes
  • Experience working in base + commission environment
