We are actively seeking a full-time Associate Wealth Advisor to join our growing firm.

Job Summary

The Associate Wealth Advisor (AWA) assists each advisor with the operational needs of his or her clients, helps to manage client relationships, and actively participates in the advanced planning process.

The AWA develops and maintains a good working relationship with clients and advisors. This is accomplished through ongoing communication, excellent client service and outstanding operational support.

In addition, this individual will work to assist with updating/inputting client financial data into various analysis tools, following up with clients on financial planning action items, and facilitating account paperwork and portfolio rebalancing activities with the appropriate admin and trading teams internally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develops a mastery of SAX WA investment philosophy and evidence-based investing.
  • Creates a personalized and holistic financial plan for each client.
  • Facilitates the consulting process through the preparation and follow-up of each step of the client experience and active participation in client meetings.
  • Monitors the clients' asset allocation, rebalancing of portfolios, trade recommendations by working with our internal trading team.
  • Tax loss harvesting recommendations.
  • Diligent recording of client communication and use of CRM software
  • Wealth analysis input (including client/scenario-based simulations)
  • Serves day-to-day client needs and collaborates with team members to ensure the highest level of service.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Schedule meetings with clients to conduct an annual review using Microsoft Outlook
  • Provides on-demand and scheduled reports to advisors and clients, as requested.
  • Participates in and contributes to team meetings, as assigned.
  • Review quarterly reports for accuracy.
  • Tracks and completes any special projects throughout the year, including advisor notifications and year-end RMDs.
  • Manages client onboarding process and facilitates new account paperwork with admin team.
  • Develops an area of expertise on a firm process and/or advanced planning topic to add value to the firm.
  • Engages in business development efforts and supports firm's strategic priorities.
Qualifications
  • Education and/or Work Experience
  • Bachelor's degree (preferably finance/financial planning concentration or accounting)
  • 2+ years of equivalent work experience in the financial services industry is required.
  • Series 65 or 66 required
  • CFP designation or exam ready is preferred
  • Knowledge of personal and small business taxes is preferred.
Specialized Skills
  • Familiarity with Financial and Tax Planning
  • Working knowledge of Windows Operating systems & Microsoft Office
  • Experience with tools used on daily basis – CRM, Custodians, Financial Planning Software, and other Portfolio Management tools is a plus.
