Aston Carter is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to contribute to a significant project within the pharmaceutical manufacturing sector. This role is integral to a dynamic team of over five professionals, known for its supportive culture and flexibility.

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Accountant will manage various transactional activities and collaborate closely with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting period-end closing and reporting activities.
  • Overseeing treasury management and fixed asset accounting.
  • Managing payroll accounting processes and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Driving projects and improvements while maintaining integrity and compliance.
  • Defining journal controls and collaborating effectively with team members.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Over five years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
  • Proven understanding of accounting principles and reporting processes.
  • Experience working collaboratively with both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve problems independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to work autonomously while influencing multiple stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with decentralized finance structures.
  • Proficient in professional business English and local language as required.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industries is preferred.

Additional Information:

This position offers a hybrid work model, combining on-site and remote work. Standard business hours are Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime as needed.
