About the Role

Barbachano International, Inc is seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead the expansion of our inverter mini-split HVAC business in the Southwestern USA and beyond. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies that drive business growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand key client relationships, fostering partnerships that lead to increased business opportunities and improved project outcomes.
  • Accurately forecast sales and achieve or surpass annual sales targets using CRM tools and data analysis.
  • Lead and develop a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and support to ensure sales success and team growth.
  • Maintain transparency of sales activities and efforts through effective use of organizational tools and reporting.
  • Present a professional image and represent the company's values in all business interactions.
  • Drive revenue growth by collaborating with wholesalers, contractors, and retail chains.
  • Educate clients and partners on our products and services.
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders through impactful sales visits, facilitated training, and other valuable touch points.
  • Develop business plans to drive growth with key partners, working closely with marketing, purchasing, finance, and buyers.
  • Provide actionable insights and competitive intelligence to inform sales strategies and forecasting.
  • Develop sales and product training plans, coordinating in-person and virtual training for clients and partners.
  • Respond to client inquiries related to product features, functions, and benefits.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to inform pricing, authorizations, and other key business decisions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of stable sales experience, with at least 2+ years in a similar role such as Sales Director or Sales Manager.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in HVAC-related industry sales, with a strong understanding of air handling units, indoor air quality, and regulatory compliance.
  • A proven history of success in meeting or exceeding sales goals, with a strong track record of driving business growth.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of CRM and Microsoft Office applications, with excellent people skills and ability to facilitate meetings and presentations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate sales strategies, motivate teams, and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Expertise in building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and understanding their needs.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Ability to collaborate effectively with other departments such as marketing and customer service to drive overall business success.
  • Professional maturity, intelligence, and intellect, diplomacy, and strategic perspective.
  • Proven leadership and ability to think strategically and analytically.
  • Spanish Proficiency is highly desired.
