Position Summary

KVAL/KMTR is looking for a part-time Production Assistant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage teleprompter and audio operations during newscasts.
  • Prepare for newscasts, which includes:
    • Setting up the studio and sets.
    • Handling audio tasks.
    • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience is not required; however, education and/or internships in television or related fields will be taken into account.

Work Schedule:

  • Evening shifts from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM & 9:30 PM to 11:30 PM / Monday - Sunday.
  • Morning shifts from 4:20 AM to 8:30 AM / Monday - Friday.
  • Availability to work on weekends is essential.
  • Flexibility for additional hours as needed.
  • Must be available for holiday shifts.
