Employee Leave Administration Specialist

Become an integral part of GTM Payroll Services Inc. as a Leave Management Specialist, where you will contribute to our comprehensive Leave Management service designed to assist in the planning, tracking, and administration of employee leaves while ensuring adherence to legal standards. Your expertise will be vital in guiding employees through various leave options and maintaining operational efficiency.
Core Responsibilities
- Engage with employees to understand their leave requirements and coordinate their work schedules accordingly.
- Oversee the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) administration process, ensuring all eligibility assessments and documentation are accurately completed.
- Support employees on leave to facilitate a smooth and timely return to their roles.
- Provide insights on the interaction between leave laws and other employee benefits.
- Manage a variety of leave requests, including those related to the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Keep precise records of all leave requests and accommodations made.
- Serve as the primary contact for Leave of Absence (LOA) cases and employee inquiries.
- Stay informed about state-specific regulations concerning leave management.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- In-depth understanding of Federal and State Leave of Absence legislation.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in managing leave processes.
- Professional HR Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
