Oracle HCM Cloud Project Leader

Next Generation Consulting, LLC is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Oracle HCM Cloud Project Leader to oversee the implementation of Oracle HCM solutions. This position entails directing the deployment and ongoing enhancement of the Oracle cloud HCM application to optimize organizational processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive consulting experience, strong expertise in HCM business processes, and a comprehensive understanding of industry standards and technological frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead multiple Full Life Cycle implementations of the Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) product, encompassing all phases from planning to go-live.
  • Demonstrate profound functional knowledge of the Oracle HCM Cloud application.
  • Manage a project team effectively, guiding workstream leads to ensure timely delivery of project milestones and exceed client expectations.
  • Oversee project financials, including risk management and issue resolution, to guarantee successful project outcomes.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Facilitate tasks such as system strategy development, requirement gathering, fit-gap analysis, and client training related to Oracle HCM implementation.
  • Organize and prioritize tasks while providing regular updates on project progress.
  • Guide the business team throughout the project lifecycle, emphasizing best practice adoption.
  • Design and prepare the solution blueprint for project execution.
  • Conduct product familiarization sessions and training for business teams to articulate product features.
  • Lead meetings to gather business requirements, encourage productive discussions, and drive decision-making.
  • Engage in workshop facilitation, deliverable generation, application configuration, and comprehensive testing to ensure successful implementation.
  • Provide expert guidance, collect detailed requirements, and translate them into system configurations.
  • Assist in testing cycles and perform necessary cutover activities for go-live readiness.
  • Demonstrate the solution approach through Proof of Concept/Conference Room Pilot and secure business approval prior to transitioning into the Solution Design phase.
  • Coordinate design and configuration efforts with all functional leads across the Oracle Cloud HCM implementation scope.
  • Collaborate with business teams to facilitate the conversion of legacy data.
  • Lead the testing efforts, including test case preparation and user testing of the solution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a functional advisory or consulting role focusing on Oracle HCM Cloud core modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Absence Management.
  • Experience with at least 2 full life-cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
  • Over 10 years of consulting experience in HCM implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of North American HCM functional business processes and US regulatory requirements.
  • Prior experience with a consulting or systems integration organization.
  • Oracle Cloud Certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to anticipate client needs, develop alternative solutions, and support delivery teams effectively.
