Next Generation Consulting, LLC is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Oracle HCM Cloud Implementation Specialist to lead the deployment of the Oracle HCM solution. This position requires overseeing the implementation and ongoing enhancement of the Oracle HCM Cloud application to optimize organizational processes. The ideal candidate will possess extensive consulting experience, a deep understanding of HCM business processes, and the ability to work independently to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrated experience in multiple end-to-end implementations of the Oracle HCM Cloud (Fusion) product, encompassing all phases from planning to go-live.
- Strong functional expertise in the Oracle HCM Cloud application.
- Proven track record of leading project teams, including guiding workstream leads to meet project deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Experience in managing project budgets, monitoring risks, and addressing issues to ensure successful project delivery.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Support activities such as system strategy development, business requirements documentation, fit-gap analysis, and functional configuration.
- Organize tasks effectively and provide regular updates on project progress.
- Guide the business team throughout the project lifecycle, focusing on the adoption of best practices.
- Design processes and prepare comprehensive solution blueprints for implementation.
- Facilitate product training sessions and communicate module features to business teams.
- Lead business requirements discussions, fostering productive dialogue and driving decision-making.
- Engage in workshop facilitation, deliverable creation, application configuration, and comprehensive testing to ensure successful outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance, gather detailed requirements, and translate them into system configurations.
- Oversee testing cycles and manage cutover activities for go-live readiness.
- Demonstrate solution approaches through Proof of Concept sessions and secure business approval prior to the design phase.
- Coordinate design and configuration efforts with all functional leads involved in the Oracle Cloud HCM implementation.
- Collaborate with business teams to assist in the conversion of legacy data.
- Lead testing efforts, including test case preparation and user testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- A minimum of 3 years in a functional advisory or consulting role focused on Oracle HCM Cloud core modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Compensation, and Absence Management.
- Experience with at least 2 full life-cycle Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
- Over 10 years of consulting experience in HCM implementations.
- Expertise in North American HCM functional business processes and US regulatory standards.
- Prior experience with a consulting or systems integration organization.
- Oracle Cloud Certification is advantageous.
- Ability to anticipate client needs, develop alternative solutions, and support delivery teams effectively.
