Position Overview

We are currently in search of a dedicated HR Generalist to enhance our client's workforce. This role is pivotal to the operational framework of the organization, particularly in facilitating the onboarding experience for new employees. Responsibilities include managing essential tasks such as maintaining employee records, administering benefits, processing payroll, and entering data into the HRIS, all while fostering an organized and welcoming office atmosphere. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and eager to advance their career in Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the recruitment process, which includes interviewing candidates and monitoring their progress within the HRIS.
  • Post job vacancies, draft job descriptions, and oversee social media promotions related to recruitment.
  • Ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires by completing all necessary steps.
  • Manage the termination process, including all required documentation and communication.
  • Establish and maintain organized filing systems, including handling new hire documentation.
  • Complete and verify I-9 forms, ensuring accurate and compliant record-keeping.
  • Oversee benefits enrollment for new employees and provide assistance during open enrollment periods.
  • Conduct regular audits of employee files to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain a clean office environment and ensure that onboarding materials are adequately stocked and current.
  • Support the HR team in planning and executing employee recognition programs and events throughout the year.
  • Coordinate arrival logistics with relevant parties and assist with transportation arrangements.
  • Perform various clerical tasks, including photocopying, mailing, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Update employee benefits and perks monthly to ensure all information is up to date.
  • Assist with housing-related tasks such as assignments, inventory management, processing invoices, and handling rent payments.
  • Carry out other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources, particularly in onboarding, benefits administration, and HRIS management.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate records.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with HR software systems (HRIS) and basic office equipment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive approach with a willingness to learn and grow within the HR field.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
