Role Summary

We are in search of a highly proficient and strategic Senior Manager, Social Media to enhance our expanding social media division. This position is crucial in developing and implementing creative social media initiatives that resonate with our client's objectives, boost brand visibility, and cultivate interaction with essential audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in social media oversight, content development, and analytics-driven strategies. You should be attuned to trends in the social and digital realms, staying informed about the swiftly changing social/digital landscape and regulations pertinent to the healthcare sector, with a strong focus on delivering quantifiable business outcomes for clients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Social Media Management:
    • Leverage external social listening platforms to gather insights and data regarding health conditions, organizations, competitors, products, and events.
    • Provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to clients.
    • Track social media discussions and suggest strategies for audience engagement.
    • Prepare analytical reports detailing social channel performance and future enhancement suggestions.
    • Collaborate with the VP of Social and Influence to formulate social strategy proposals for clients.
    • Educate clients on compliance standards and regulations from the FDA and FTC that govern social media and influencer activities in regulated industries.
  • Content Development:
    • Research and create content for client and Calcium+Company social media platforms.
    • Design engaging visual assets (graphics and videos) for social media use.
    • Draft and present creative briefs to the creative teams at Calcium+Company.
    • Represent social media at on-site events or shoots requiring real-time content generation.
  • Influencer Engagement:
    • Support the execution of a comprehensive paid influencer strategy, encompassing ideation, selection, contracting, co-creation, launch, and ongoing management.
  • Paid Social Strategies:
    • Develop recommendations and strategies for paid social media initiatives.
    • Assist in managing relationships with paid media vendors or agencies.

Qualifications
  • 3-4 years of experience in marketing, advertising, or communications.
  • Proven experience in executing and managing social media and influencer campaigns across various channels.
  • Proficiency in Photoshop, InDesign, or similar software for creating and editing social media content.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with varying deadlines.
  • Capability to work autonomously, demonstrating initiative and self-direction.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in client-facing roles, leading client discussions and presentations.
  • Background in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry or other highly regulated sectors.
  • Experience in executing all facets of a paid social media campaign, including targeting, platform selection, ad type selection, ad placement, and performance optimization.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week during standard business hours.
  • Critical and strategic thinking abilities.
