We are seeking a seasoned product strategist to partner with engineering teams in shaping and executing initiatives within our Platform division. As a Lead Product Strategist at Vistar, you will collaborate closely with engineering, business teams, and external partners to oversee the complete product lifecycle—from ideation and specification development to market introduction and iterative enhancements based on user feedback. This role presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled product strategist eager to make a significant impact by developing groundbreaking products in the industry.

Team Dynamics:
The Platform Engineering team at Vistar encompasses a broad range of responsibilities, including enhancing developer experiences, optimizing infrastructure, and refining deployment processes. You will have the chance to devise solutions that benefit both internal teams and end users. There is potential for this role to expand to cover additional core infrastructure and internal tools that support our external offerings and operational scalability (e.g., APIs, reporting tools).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the infrastructure that supports developer workflows to inform prioritization strategies.
  • Establish product security protocols and develop a roadmap to uphold these standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering leadership on platform strategies and execute roadmaps aimed at enhancing our core infrastructure.
  • Facilitate the launch of initiatives from the platform team that influence customer workflows, such as authentication and login management.
  • Analyze product usage and collect user insights to guide future iterations of existing offerings.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., engineering, computer science) or a Bachelor's degree in any field coupled with 7+ years of professional experience in product management.
  • Over 7 years of experience in product management with a robust understanding of platform technologies, cloud infrastructure, and engineering methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to articulate product vision, translate it into actionable plans, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products.
  • Experience with authentication technologies (e.g., Auth0/Cognito, OAuth, SAML 2.0, OIDC).
  • Familiarity with cloud infrastructure providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of compliance, privacy, and security requirements and the ability to engage with relevant stakeholders.
  • Experience managing developer-centric API products.
