As a Customer Service Representative at the Exchange, your primary role will be to assist our service members in acquiring the uniforms they require. Attention to detail and the ability to learn quickly are essential for this position. Your expertise will empower customers to shop confidently, knowing you can assist with sizing, locating insignias, and addressing any other needs they may have. Staying informed about policy updates is crucial. Most importantly, your positive demeanor will encourage repeat visits from customers.

Job Qualifications
Completion of high school or equivalent. Retail experience and a demonstrated willingness to take on additional responsibilities are preferred.

Major Responsibilities
Deliver a high level of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Greet each customer upon contact and assess their needs, suggesting alternative options and providing resolutions. Maintain a welcoming environment, actively engage, and build trust with customers to deliver a personalized shopping experience.
Provide product knowledge through superior sales skills to assist customers in one or more sales areas, adhering to merchandise presentation standards including arranging space on the sales floor, setting up promotional displays, and ensuring cleanliness of the assigned area.
Assist customers with price changes, special orders, online orders, and rain checks. Provide guidance on military uniform dress requirements, insignia, and new items. Assist with minor alterations and certification submissions as needed.
Actively promote the benefits of the Military Star credit card, Exchange protection plan, and other corporate programs to enhance sales growth and customer loyalty.
Operate a cash register or sales-related equipment to enter new accounts, conduct sales, refunds, or similar transactions. Ensure accuracy in handling multiple payment methods and maintaining zero variance.
Ensure compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations, safeguarding fixed assets, cash, and inventory. Follow loss prevention procedures and alert management of potential issues involving fraud, waste, and abuse.
Perform other duties as assigned.
