Position Overview

Salary: Up to $39.84 hourly

The primary role of the Security Operations Specialist is to deliver comprehensive security assistance to a client's establishment and organization. This position is responsible for providing daily support for Collateral, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), and Special Access Program (SAP) operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting classification assessments of incoming and outgoing communications.
  • Supporting the upkeep of a document accountability system and related correspondence.
  • Managing the processing of classified mail and maintaining receipt records.
  • Executing the destruction of classified documents.
  • Overseeing magnetic media accountability processes.
  • Providing reproduction assistance for classified documents.
  • Maintaining various daily logs related to document control and administrative tasks.
  • Assisting in the management of incoming data and outbound data transfer files.
  • Facilitating the transfer of electronic data files to internal stakeholders.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive database of customer contact points.
  • Assisting with the research, processing, filing, and management of visit notifications.
  • Escorting visitors within the facility and keeping relevant logs.
  • Assisting in the creation of facility access control badges.
  • Conducting entry and exit inspections.
  • Supporting the maintenance of facility access control systems, including visitor management.
  • Performing data entry into the Personnel Access Security System database and overseeing customer-sponsored billets and quota information.
  • Assisting in the upkeep of personnel security records for all personnel within the supported unit.
  • Adhering to and enforcing the client's Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Providing support for security awareness and educational initiatives.
  • Carrying out various administrative support tasks as directed by the contractor site lead or Senior Security Representative.

Clearance Requirement:

Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Educational Background:

Bachelor's Degree

Mandatory Qualifications:

3-5 years of relevant experience, SAP experience; Training: DoD SAPCO approved SAPNP.

Compensation:

Up to $39.84/hour
