Military Personnel and Administrative Specialist

This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching complex pay actions, preparing military personnel actions, and maintaining military personnel files to ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and analyze data to identify trends and report the results to management.
- Provide technical advice on establishment and maintenance of military pay accounts ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform interpretation and application.
Requirements:
Applicants must meet one of the employment authority categories below and provide documents that prove eligibility. The categories include 30 Percent or More Disabled Veterans, Current Department of Army Civilian Employees, and Current Department of Defense (DOD) Civilian Employees.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have one year of specialized experience in preparing military personnel actions, researching or analyzing pay issues, reviewing incoming regulations, and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations. Alternatively, the candidate may have a Master's degree or equivalent graduate degree in a field such as Business Administration or Human Resources.
Working Conditions:
This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve and may involve working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines. The successful candidate will be required to provide technical advice and guidance to management and other personnel.
