Military Personnel and Administrative Specialist

Job Summary:
This position requires an active membership as a Soldier in the Army Reserve before a start date can be set.
The US Army is seeking a highly skilled Military Personnel and Administrative Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the 88th Readiness Division, Reserve Personnel Action Center (RPAC) Vancouver Hub, you will be responsible for preparing military personnel actions, researching or analyzing pay issues, and ensuring compliance with rules and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research complex pay actions and prepare a wide variety of military personnel actions
- Maintain military personnel files to ensure compliance with laws and regulations
- Research and analyze data to identify trends and report the results to management
- Provide technical advice on establishment and maintenance of military pay accounts ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Provide guidance on administrative and military personnel matters
- Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures to ensure uniform interpretation and application
Requirements:

Education:
Applicants must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
Applicants will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Applicants must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
One year trial/probationary period may be required.
Direct deposit of pay is required.
Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
