Job Summary:

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care in a dynamic and supportive environment. Your expertise will be instrumental in assessing patients' medical conditions, functional capabilities, and rehabilitation potential to develop effective treatment plans.

Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, you will assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating team goals and providing services as needed. Your strong communication skills will enable you to interact effectively with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate a high level of professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' medical conditions and functional capabilities
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Physical Therapist
  • Provide patient education and support to promote optimal rehabilitation outcomes
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to evaluate team goals and provide services as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff

Requirements:

  • 6 months of recent experience in a physical therapy setting
  • Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy
  • BLS Certification
  • Active state license
