We are currently in search of a full-time Customer Support Specialist I to become part of our Call Center team. The ideal candidate should be reliable, capable of multitasking, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to work as a self-motivated team player in a dynamic and challenging environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, outstanding service skills, and the ability to identify member needs to recommend and sell SDFCU products and services effectively. This role operates in a fast-paced, goal-oriented setting with weekly, monthly, and annual production, service, and sales objectives. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively to achieve and surpass personal and departmental targets.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Minimum one year of customer service experience with proven sales and service capabilities.
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent.
  3. Ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls efficiently.
  4. Professional phone demeanor and clear speaking voice.
  5. Effective oral communication skills, with demonstrated listening abilities.
  6. Resourcefulness and analytical thinking.
  7. Proficiency in a Windows software environment.
  8. Typing accuracy of 35 words per minute is preferred.
  9. Strong writing skills with attention to grammar and composition.
  10. Good organizational and time management abilities.

Work Environment:
