Position Overview
As a Sales Engineer specializing in Compressed Air Systems, your responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as the subject matter expert on technical information related to the sales of compressed air systems, accessories, parts, and services.
  • Generating leads and formulating detailed sales strategies to effectively penetrate accounts and meet sales objectives.
  • Traveling to current and prospective customer locations within a designated sales territory to demonstrate and explain products and services, conduct needs assessments, and solicit orders.
  • Recommending compressed air system products and services tailored to customer needs, interests, costs, and other relevant factors.
  • Preparing and presenting quotes, proposals, and service contracts to both potential and existing customers.
  • Reviewing detailed design drawings, specifications, or lists related to compressed air system installations.
  • Negotiating prices and terms for equipment sales and aftermarket service agreements.
  • Documenting prospecting activities in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Enhancing organizational visibility within the industrial and manufacturing sectors through proactive networking.
  • Performing additional tasks as assigned.

Candidate Profile
The Sales Engineer opportunity may be suitable for you if you possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field, along with 2+ years of B2B sales experience in the industrial or capital equipment sector; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid Driver's License and a clean motor vehicle record.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate leads, convert them into sales opportunities, and achieve sales targets.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
