Job Summary:

As an Events Operations Specialist, you will be integral to the team managing the daily operations of our on-mountain events. This includes everything from site setup and event execution to post-event cleanup. You will gain invaluable experience and learn effective work practices that will be beneficial in your future career endeavors.

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $27.44 / hour
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Part Time
  • Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the operational schedule and calendar in alignment with the event schedule.
  • Disseminate information regarding upcoming events through the Event Prospectus.
  • Oversee logistical support for all on-mountain events.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with all mountain division departments concerning operations that may affect events.
  • Assist with logistics on the day of the event.
  • Develop Safety and Operations plans for all events to accompany the Event Prospectus.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a supervisory or managerial role within mountain operations or event management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Prior experience with scheduling.
  • Ability to effectively communicate detailed information both verbally and in writing to guests and employees.
  • Preferred capability to lift 50 pounds or more.

The expected pay range is $27.44. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this position, with individual decisions based on various factors.
