Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and updates patient records, confirming insurance details for each visit.
  • Handles payment collection and issues receipts to patients.
  • Conducts cashiering tasks, including daily batch closures, cash drawer reconciliations, and secure money storage.
  • Ensures all necessary documentation is completed and signed, including notes on information release, privacy policies, and benefit assignments.
  • Coordinates appointment scheduling and communicates future appointment information to patients.
  • Retrieves medical records for same-day appointments as needed.
  • Provides prompt and courteous telephone assistance, addressing patient inquiries, directing calls to appropriate departments, and accurately coding phone interactions.
  • Maintains consistent and reliable attendance.
  • Performs additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
