Pathology Billing Services is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Account Representative Assistant to provide comprehensive clerical support to our Pathology Billing Services team. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong understanding of office procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Scan and link pertinent information to departmental folders and billing software.
- Maintain knowledge of office operating procedures, memoranda, and verbal instructions.
- Provide clerical support to department employees, including filing and supply management.
- Support the AR Department with claim and appeal submission tasks.
- Assist with pulling medical records for payor requests.
- Adhere to all office procedures and guidelines.
Requirements
- One year of prior experience in an office setting.
- Knowledge of business software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation applications.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to handle confidential information and exercise independent judgment.
