Patient Services Representative

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Services Representative to join our team at Native American Connections. As a key member of our integrated care team, you will provide exceptional administrative support and coordination for all aspects of our behavioral health and medical services.
Responsibilities- Provide clerical and administrative support for all aspects of integrated care, including patient intake, prior authorization, and appointment coordination.
- Ensure that pending intake and prior authorization gaps are addressed to increase service outcomes.
- Greets patients and assists with patient information, form completion, and verifies insurance eligibility for all appointments.
- Perform general office duties, including mail, fax, file, copy, and office supplies.
- Set appointments for clients and ensure that daily client appointments are accurately logged in the electronic health record.
- Follow up on missed appointments to re-engage patients and ensure timely follow-up.
- Document in EHR promptly and accurately.
- Contact outside agencies for referral information and assistance.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive and respectful attitude.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Electronic Medical Record experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical and/or behavioral health office setting.
- Knowledgeable about the economic, educational, and social problems of Native Americans and referral sources available.
- Valid Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
- CPR/First Aid Certificate within 90 days of hire.
- Possess and maintain a valid Arizona driver's license.
- MS Office proficiency.
- Bilingual (Spanish desired).
- Experience working with the Native American population.
- Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to work effectively with a wide range of people, teams, managers, supervisors, and vendors.
