Position Overview:

The Food Service Attendant plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service. This position involves preparing and serving a diverse range of menu offerings, processing sales transactions, and ensuring accurate change is provided to guests. All Food Service Attendants report directly to the designated Food Service Manager of their assigned area.

Key Responsibilities:

The Food Service Attendant is tasked with providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include preparing and serving various menu items, processing sales, and ensuring correct change is given to guests.

  • Prepare simple menu offerings.
  • Process sales transactions and provide accurate change.
  • Engage with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Accurately record all sales in the cash register.
  • Maintain cleanliness; store products; dispose of waste properly.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
  • Verify identification for customers purchasing alcohol.
  • Encourage additional sales through suggestive selling.
  • Keep a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to adhere to company service standards and inventory management.
  • Perform basic arithmetic operations with U.S. currency.

Qualifications:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members to uphold service standards.
  • Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Fluency in English is required.
  • Ability to work in an open-air setting under various weather conditions.
  • Must be able to lift and carry items weighing between 10-30 pounds, occasionally up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs/ramps.
  • Availability to work during all events, including extended hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must possess sufficient mobility to perform tasks such as reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods.
  • Must comply with state and local health regulations for food handling and alcohol service.
