Available Shifts:
Full-Time: All
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares and/or portions food items (including beverages, salads, desserts, and other assigned items) for both regular and specialized diets according to the scheduled menu and production guidelines.
- Utilizes proper food handling and safety techniques in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Ensures food is presented in an appealing and appetizing manner, employing appropriate tasting methods to confirm quality standards prior to serving.
- Maintains appropriate food temperatures during preparation and service, documenting temperatures as per established protocols.
- Adheres to procedures for serving meals to partners.
- Engages effectively with residents and their families, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere while addressing any concerns in a professional and caring manner.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a 10th-grade education is required.
- Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
- Capable of interpreting and implementing written or verbal policies, procedures, and instructions.
- Basic mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
- Effective communication skills.
