Key Responsibilities- Guest Registration: Greet guests, complete the registration process, and ensure accurate and efficient inputting and retrieving of guest information.
- Check-Out Process: Assist guests with check-out, ensuring rooms and services are correctly accounted for, and process payments in a timely and friendly manner.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of hotel information, including room categories, rates, packages, promotions, and local area attractions.
- Upselling and Cross-Selling: Use up-selling techniques to promote hotel services and facilities, and maximize room occupancy.
- Guest Inquiries and Complaints: Respond to guest inquiries and requests, resolve issues in a timely and friendly manner, and field guest complaints, conducting research and resolving and negotiating solutions for guest satisfaction.
- Communication: Receive, input, retrieve, and relay messages to guests, and ensure effective communication with colleagues and management.
To be successful as a Front Desk Agent, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be proficient in using hotel software and systems, and have a thorough knowledge of hotel policies and procedures.
