Position Overview:
As a Client Relations Specialist for Specialty Services, you will serve as the primary liaison for our Specialty Department clients and their beloved pets.

Key Responsibilities:
Your role will encompass welcoming clients, fostering enduring relationships with them and their pets during follow-up visits, gathering essential information, maintaining accurate documentation, and being readily available to address client inquiries, provide updates, process payments, and resolve any issues that may arise.

This position demands exceptional client service skills, both in-person and through phone and email communications, alongside administrative duties and data management.

Client Interaction:
The Client Relations Specialist will facilitate interactions for various departments, including Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Diagnostic Imaging, Pain Management, Hospice, and Surgery. Additionally, you will receive cross-training to assist with Emergency Room front desk operations.

Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position ranges from $19 to $22, with additional differentials for overnight and weekend shifts as applicable.

Work Schedule:
This role offers a schedule from Monday to Friday, 10 AM to 6 PM.

Candidate Qualifications:
We seek candidates who demonstrate the ability to engage with a diverse range of clients in emotionally charged situations. A minimum of one year of experience in a fast-paced, in-person customer service role is required. Experience in the veterinary or medical field is preferred. Proficiency in using desktop computers and the ability to learn veterinary software is essential. Candidates should be able to type at least 45 words per minute while maintaining a conversation with clients and effectively manage a multi-line phone system while balancing in-person interactions.

Skills and Attributes:
Attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, and the capacity to multitask in a dynamic environment while consistently exhibiting professionalism and composure are crucial. Problem-solving abilities and the capability to work independently within a collaborative team setting are also important. Accurate handling of cash transactions is required. Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above qualifications.
