As a Client Services Specialist for Specialty Care, you will serve as the primary contact for our Specialty Department clients and their beloved pets.

Your key responsibilities will encompass greeting clients, fostering long-term relationships with them and their pets during follow-up visits, gathering essential information, maintaining accurate records, and being readily available to address client inquiries, provide updates, process payments, and resolve any issues.

This position demands exceptional client service skills, both in-person and through phone and email communications, alongside administrative duties and data management.

The Client Services Specialist will also engage in building rapport with clients to ensure an outstanding experience.


The role facilitates client interactions across various departments, including:

  • Cardiology
  • Internal Medicine
  • Neurology
  • Diagnostic Imaging
  • Pain Management
  • Hospice
  • Surgery

Additionally, you will receive cross-training to assist with Emergency Room front desk responsibilities.


Compensation:
$19-22 hourly, with additional differentials for overnight and weekend shifts as applicable.


Work Schedule:
The available shift for this role is Monday through Friday, from 10 AM to 6 PM.


Candidate Qualifications:
We seek individuals who demonstrate:

  • Experience in handling a diverse range of clients in emotionally charged situations.
  • A minimum of one year in a fast-paced, in-person customer service role.
  • Preferred experience in the veterinary or medical field.
  • Proficiency with desktop computers and the ability to learn veterinary software.
  • A typing speed of at least 45 WPM while engaging in conversation with clients.
  • Capability to manage a multi-line phone system while balancing in-person client interactions.
  • Attention to detail, high accuracy, and the ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining professionalism.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently within a team dynamic.
  • Accurate handling of cash transactions.
  • Any suitable combination of experience or education may substitute for the above.
