Client Relations Associate

The Client Relations Associate will collaborate closely with Relationship Managers to deliver outstanding banking services and operational support to both business and individual clients. The ideal candidate will be a professional team player with demonstrated banking and service expertise, ready to provide the exceptional level of service that clients deserve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively contribute as a collaborative team member within the organization.
  • Support the professional community at the Bank by embracing a team-oriented approach to achieving goals and objectives.
  • Take initiative in addressing client needs and advocate for them to ensure timely delivery of requested services and products.
  • Work in tandem with Relationship Managers and other team members to ensure superior client service.
  • Perform daily client service and teller functions.
  • Manage client inquiries, requests, and concerns effectively.
  • Comprehend the full scope of a client’s banking relationship and make informed product and service recommendations.
  • Oversee all aspects of new account openings.
  • Provide technical assistance to clients regarding Remote Deposit Scanner implementations and ongoing support.
  • Facilitate treasury management setups and continuous service for clients.
  • Process wire transfers, stop payments, and various other banking services.
  • Assist with daily general ledger balancing, certifications, and other operational responsibilities.
  • Provide backup support for the reception desk as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proficient in computer usage with a minimum typing speed of 40 wpm; capable of utilizing various software applications relevant to the role.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Able to maintain attention to detail and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and performing well under pressure.
  • Solid understanding of banking operations.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, with at least one year of experience in banking, finance, or related customer service roles.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while also being an effective team member.
  • Creative and optimistic problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with banking deposit, treasury management, and loan products is advantageous.
  • Experience with commercial or business clients is preferred.
  • Prior experience with general ledger balancing and certifications is a plus.

Hours: This is a full-time position (40 hours) from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, excluding Banking Holidays. Overtime may be required periodically.
