Financial Program Analyst

Overview:
The Financial Program Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting various financial operations. This position requires a keen eye for detail and exceptional organizational abilities, along with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and Access is also essential for effective analysis and implementation of recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial management and project plans, ensuring timely responses to data requests and maintaining accurate databases.
- Coordinate project schedules and support various meetings and activities, ensuring all necessary materials and equipment are prepared in advance.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as meeting coordination, documenting minutes, tracking action items, and managing travel arrangements.
- Respond to inquiries regarding funding allocations for labor, materials, and other resources.
- Prepare and monitor budget forecasts, ensuring timely updates and reporting.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support the overall financial operations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required, along with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in a management analyst capacity. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of formal education for highly qualified candidates.
- Experience in a similar role within the relevant industry is preferred.
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and external contacts.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and sound judgment, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Flexibility to twist, bend, and squat as needed.
Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level, with U.S. Citizenship required for clearance eligibility.
