Procurement Support Specialist

Role Overview:
As an Acquisition Management Analyst, you will play a vital role in supporting our client within the US Navy. Your expertise will be essential in applying business process knowledge to assist commands associated with the Department of Defense (DoD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the government in establishing timelines and tracking the progress of procurement initiatives.
- Conduct research and analysis on procurement challenges.
- Assist in data collection to implement regulatory and policy guidelines.
- Engage with various organizations and stakeholders.
- Provide comprehensive program, analytical, and acquisition management support.
- Manage records meticulously, conduct business research analysis, and develop valuation strategies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with report-writing software such as Business Intelligence tools.
- Participate in administrative tasks as required.
Specific Duties Include:
- Planning, tracking, and analyzing acquisition requirements.
- Inputting purchase requisitions.
- Monitoring performance metrics.
- Tracking funds and payments.
- Preparing and reviewing acquisition documentation.
- Taking meeting minutes.
- Handling documents efficiently.
- Reporting on Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRL).
- Performing data entry tasks.
Required Experience:
- Proven experience in preparing, interpreting, and presenting data.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in acquisition management support.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Essential Skills:
- Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Capability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to quick turnarounds.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience.
