Role and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will deliver Acquisition Specialist support to our esteemed client within the US Navy. The role requires analysts to utilize their business process expertise and sound judgment to assist commands affiliated with the Department of Defense (DoD).

As Acquisition Management Analysts, you will aid the government in:

  • Establishing timelines and overseeing the progress of procurement activities
  • Researching and evaluating procurement challenges
  • Assisting in data collection to implement regulatory and policy directives
  • Collaborating with various organizations and stakeholders

Your daily responsibilities will encompass program management, analytical tasks, and acquisition oversight. This includes meticulous management of records, conducting business research analysis, and developing valuation strategies.

Analysts will utilize Microsoft Office applications, including Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, along with report-writing tools such as Business Intelligence software. Administrative tasks may also be part of your duties.

  • Inputting Purchase Requisitions
  • Monitoring Performance Metrics
  • Tracking Financials and Payments
  • Preparing and Reviewing Acquisition Documentation
  • Taking Meeting Minutes
  • Managing Document Flow
  • Reporting on Contract Data Requirements (CDRL)
  • Data Entry Tasks
Required Experience:
  • Proven experience in preparing, interpreting, and presenting data
  • A minimum of 3 years in acquisition management support
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
Essential Skills:
  • Strong analytical, financial, and computer skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Capability to work autonomously
  • Proficiency in multitasking and managing time effectively under tight deadlines
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience
