Role Title: Fiber Construction Project Administrator

Salary Range: $41,250 to $68,750 annually, based on experience

Position Summary:

The Fiber Construction Project Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining organization and efficiency within our teams by providing extensive administrative support and reporting functions for our Fiber Design and Construction division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, interpret, compile, analyze, post, prepare, and verify cyclical/statistical data/orders/information by developing, formatting, generating, and maintaining specialized reports, files, and/or spreadsheets using various software packages.
  • Input, track, ensure accuracy, and summarize data; coordinate information with other departments to achieve objectives; identify trends and patterns.
  • Assist the Construction Manager with timekeeping, attendance, and technician leave management.
  • Support the Engineering Manager with various project assignments and tracking responsibilities, including financial oversight, permit applications, and payments.
  • Assist local Construction and Inspection teams with material procurement and usage tracking.
  • Support the Manager and CPA team with project assignments, tracking, and closure criteria.
  • Manage permit processes, including management, closures, document uploads, task management, and other project closure responsibilities.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support the business and its evolving needs.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative capacity required.
  • Familiarity with engineering accounting guidelines for vendor invoicing and data validation in support of the Inspection and Management team.
  • Experience with various Ziply Construction and Accounting software systems preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficient keyboard skills, both alpha and numeric, with an emphasis on accuracy and speed.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets, and other project management software suites.
  • Demonstrated effective organizational skills.
  • Ability to safeguard confidential information.
  • Capacity to work independently and apply sound judgment and reasoning skills to various situations.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and across departments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and organizational abilities.

Work Environment and Additional Information:

Work is conducted in an office environment with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. The work is primarily in a modern office setting.
