Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Department Coordinator to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our front-end operations, you will be responsible for promoting an excellent customer experience and overseeing a team of Associates to ensure prompt and courteous customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience: Create a positive internal and external customer experience by engaging and interacting with all customers, and maintaining a clean and organized store.
  • Team Leadership: Lead by example, train and mentor Associates on front-end principles, and assign registers, support and respond to POS coverage needs.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure Associates execute tasks and activities according to store plan, prioritize as needed, and communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates.
Requirements
  • Availability: Available to work flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of merchandising techniques, capable of multi-tasking, and strong communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.

This position has a starting pay range of $14.00 to $14.50 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
