Key Responsibilities:

  • Procure MRO, equipment, and spare parts while ensuring the best pricing from reliable suppliers, adhering to established quality and quantity standards.
  • Oversee supplier outsourcing initiatives.
  • Contribute to global procurement strategies for MRO categories.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including material descriptions, HTSUS codes, duty ratios, and supplier details.
  • Address discrepancies in invoicing or materials to ensure accurate and timely processing.
  • Coordinate with customs, freight brokers, and vendors to facilitate the shipment of materials.
  • Manage material master data and purchasing information, including part specifications and pricing.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to mitigate risks related to supplier delays or receiving errors.
  • Document processes and participate in audits and certifications.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in SAP MM Module.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Exhibit a consistent attendance record and adherence to company policies.
  • Understand business requirements to align with organizational objectives.
  • Prepare weekly reports on procurement activities and results.
  • Delegate tasks according to procurement and logistics plans.
  • Monitor and report on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Engage with management and global teams to coordinate departmental activities.
  • Provide feedback on the need for revisions or new procedures.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and supplier capabilities.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience in purchasing.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in a manufacturing purchasing environment.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and computer skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Self-motivated with experience in multitasking.
  • Ability to influence and guide at all organizational levels.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
