Primary Duties:

  • Support the creation and management of purchase requests and orders for materials and equipment.
  • Keep inventory records current, monitoring the progress of requests, agreements, and orders.
  • Engage with vendors to gather information regarding products or services, including pricing, availability, and delivery timelines.
  • Examine and confirm the accuracy of invoices and purchase requests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure procurement requirements are fulfilled and to address any challenges that may arise.
  • Assist in negotiating terms and agreements with vendors.
  • Track and follow up on pending purchase orders and delivery timelines.
  • Organize and maintain procurement documentation for easy access.
  • Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including data entry, filing, and communication.
  • Contribute to special initiatives and other tasks as required.
