About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our team at I.L.I.A, a leading clean skin-centric beauty company. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for overseeing the accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, and supporting the financial close process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accounting Operations: Oversee and manage the daily accounting operations on the general ledger side, ensuring timely and accurate financial data.
  • Financial Close Process: Lead the month-end and year-end financial close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Internal Controls: Develop, implement, and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring they are in accordance with IFRS.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • External Audits: Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process, providing necessary documentation and explanations.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Development: Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with a CPG brand, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
  • Skills: Extensive experience with NetSuite, strong knowledge of multi-currency accounting and financial consolidation processes, proven experience with financial close processes and internal controls.
