Key Responsibilities

Participate actively in the month-end closing activities, which include:

  • Preparing journal entries and reconciling account balances.
  • Recording financial transactions and conducting thorough financial analyses.
  • Managing the cash application process, ensuring accurate matching of bank activities to the general ledger.

Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable teams to maintain the accuracy of payments and collections.

Take charge of the monthly accrual process to ensure timely capture of transactions within the appropriate accounting period, including:

  • Expense reports
  • Legal accruals
  • Subsequently received bills

Prepare financial reconciliations promptly and investigate variances as necessary.

Support other finance departments (FP&A, AP, AR, Revenue) and engage in ad-hoc projects as required.

Assist in the implementation of new systems or enhancements to existing systems to foster continued growth of the company and the finance team.

Contribute to a robust control environment by establishing, refining, and maintaining operational processes.

Embrace a collaborative spirit, demonstrating a willingness to assist colleagues and maintain a proactive approach.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline.
  • CPA certification is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience under US GAAP; experience in public accounting or auditing is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and US GAAP.
