As a member of the CBRE Lease Administration team, your primary responsibility will be to perform reconciliations for clients, ensuring that operating expenses align with lease agreements.
This position is integral to the Lease Administration sector, which is dedicated to managing real estate portfolios, overseeing database functions, and providing accounts payable and receivable services, as well as conducting audits.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Analyze and assess operating expense and tax reconciliation documents received, confirming that client charges adhere to lease stipulations.
2. Conduct comprehensive audits for lease administration clients, soliciting additional information and recommending further actions for audit and recovery processes.
3. Generate detailed reports of findings, ensuring that accurate credits and appropriate charges are documented.
4. Assist in preparing Common Area Maintenance (CAM) reconciliations, ensuring precision and compliance with business control standards.
5. Review contracts to accurately identify applicable fees, including audit savings and travel reimbursements.
6. Possess foundational knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in their application.
7. Exemplify and promote behaviors that align with CBRE's RISE values.
8. Ensure the quality of your work impacts overall outcomes positively.
9. Operate within established procedures and practices to meet objectives and deadlines.
10. Communicate straightforward information, pose questions, and verify understanding.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree is preferred, accompanied by up to 3 years of relevant experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Ability to apply existing procedures to resolve standard issues.
- Experience in analyzing data and standard practices to make informed decisions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational skills coupled with a curious mindset.
