About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our team at Royal Caribbean Group. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing support to front-line employees and managers, as well as contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support to front-line employees and managers, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to prepare disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Work closely with business leaders and recruitment to manage positions and maintain internal systems.
  • Pull reports and maintain records on the status of requisitions and positions.
  • Support HR team with workforce changes, including terminations, reports to, location, and cost center changes.
  • Prepare materials for pulse surveys, talent reviews, and year-end appraisal processes.
  • Act as a cultural change agent for HR transformation.
  • Prepare internal offer and promotion letters and retain documentation in employee files.
  • Participate in talent reviews, succession planning, engagement action planning, and other HR initiatives.
  • Coordinate the new hire experience, including onboarding support, department-specific orientation, and new hire check-ins.
  • Create and maintain area-specific recognition programs and/or newsletters to support engagement and the employee experience.
  • Conduct exit interviews, support offboarding, and maintain tracking/data insights.
  • Support HR Business Partners with the coordination of department-specific HR projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of generalist experience in Human Resources.
  • Excellent persuasive verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical and conceptual thinking to drive objectivity and data-based decision making.
  • Ability to respond to shifts in the business environment, adapt, and change course when necessary.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to find alternative solutions to business inquiries.
  • Insure high-level confidentiality in all aspects of work.
  • Ability to handle, analyze, interpret, and communicate data effectively and responsibly to drive business outcomes.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and HR enterprise software.
