Job Description

**About the Role**

Burns Honda is seeking a skilled Automotive Sales Professional to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for managing all sales activities, from generating and managing sales leads to negotiating sales prices and delivering vehicles to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers on the sales floor and perform a needs analysis to determine their vehicle preferences.
  • Explain features and demonstrate the operation of vehicles in the showroom or on the road.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment using computer databases.
  • Work with Sales and F&I Managers to negotiate sales prices and requirements for financing or lease payments.
  • Walk the lot and visually inspect inventory to ensure accurate representation of available vehicles.
  • Complete all paperwork and arrange for delivery and registration of vehicles.
  • Deliver and familiarize customers with their new vehicles.
  • Attend and complete required training and department meetings.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is expected.

Requirements:

  • Ability to speak a second language is preferred.
  • One year of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Sales skills, great communication, and excellent customer service skills are essential.
  • Organization and thorough follow-up skills are necessary for staying in touch with clients prior to and after the sale.
  • A current valid driver's license is required for all employees.
  • Mathematical skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
